These high strength polypropylene bed risers safely and securely raise the height of a bed by 5 inches.* They are typically used to raise the height of the bed in order to:
- Provide storage space under the bed
- Provide additional space so a "patient lift" can easily be maneuvered under the bed
- Raise the height of the bed so that a caregiver can more easily work with a bed-ridden patient
* Bed risers are 6" high top to bottom. The "well" into which the bed legs sit is 2-3/4" wide by 1" deep. Height of your bed will be raised by a total of 5"
Bed risers are recommended for use with Designer Series beds where the additional height might be needed. In the case of hospital beds, adjustability of bed height precludes the need for bed risers.
